Seabass: good form, jockey is wearing our wedding colours (dark red & white), got a feeling about the name as I scrolled through.
Hello Bud: hubby’s old family dog was called Buddy, this is an old boy horse who came 5th two years ago, was pulled up last year (sensible decision, protect the horse!) and this is his last race. He could be the oldest winner since 1853!
Not much science in it, gut feeling and a personal link. The National is such an unpredictable race, the fittest horse with the the best trainer and jockey isn’t always the way!
